We look forward to welcoming you at Quinta Algarve, a beautifully renovated 19th-century private property owned by the Pesche family for the last 30 years. Set almost 500m above sea level, in the magnificent Monchique mountains on the outskirts of the village, it provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy your healing journey towards a more enjoyable and fulfilling life.
The Soothe and Savour Retreat is designed to provide deep relaxation, holistic healing, and carefully curated cooking classes led by Filippo and Louise in the tranquil setting of Monchique.

❌ What’s Not Included
✈️ We are not responsible for your airfares and/or other transportation costs to and from the retreat destination in Monchique, Algarve, Portugal.
If travelling by plane, we recommend you fly to Faro International Airport (FAO)
on 29 June 2025 at a time that enables you to arrive at the retreat centre by 6pm
for the commencement of the schedule.
🚕 Airport transfers are not included, although you will have the opportunity to book our group shuttle for Faro to Monchique return trip if the group transport times suit you. Once your flights are booked, please email [email protected], with your flight details and we will discuss your options.
(optional group shuttle is available at certain times on first and final days of retreats only)
📜Travel & medical insurance (highly recommended)
🍷Additional food & beverages outside of retreat meals
🛍️ Items of a personal nature such as, gifts, excess baggage, shopping, taxis, and gratuities, medical costs, the costs of hospitalisation and evacuation, travel insurance and additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control.
💳 Payment & Booking Conditions
To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of €500 is required at the time of booking.
🔹To attend, it is essential that all payments meet the final payment deadline.
🔹 Payments must be made via Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or Bank Transfer.
🔹 Bookings made within one month of the retreat start date require full payment upfront.
All payments must be received at least 14 days before the retreat starts and can be made online through our secure order form or by contacting Louise at Soulise Retreats for an alternative arrangement (email [email protected])
📆 Cancellation & Refund Policy
90+ days before retreat: Full refund minus non-refundable deposit
60-90 days before retreat: 50% refund of any payments made after the non-refundable deposit is received
30 days or less: No refunds
🚨 Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended to cover any unexpected changes.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] before the retreat start date. Once payments are non-refundable, you must claim any reimbursements through your insurance provider.
In the unlikely event that Algarve Soul Retreats cancels the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, strikes, war, etc.), we will refund any amounts, not already paid to suppliers and attempt to recover advance payments where possible.
